Triveni Sangam
Allahabad is synonymous with Sangam and Kumbh. Nevertheless, the city has much more to offer to the tourists. Apart from regular attractions, the city boasts some of the most famous parks and museums in India.

The place has today been turned into a fine museum. The importance of this place also increases because several momentous decisions and events related to the freedom struggle took place here. The main building houses a museum that displays the memorabilia of the Nehru family.
Lete Hanuman Mandir
According to the legend, when Hanuman ji was passing through this place after conquering Lanka, he started feeling very tired. Then, on the advice of Mother Sita, Hanuman ji rested here. This is the reason why Hanuman ji is worshiped lying down at this place.
According to another story, hundreds of years ago, a rich merchant was carrying this idol of Hanuman ji, when his boat reached the banks of Sangam and the idol of Hanuman ji fell here. The merchant tried a lot to lift the idol of Hanuman ji, but he could not succeed in it. At night, the merchant had a dream in which Hanuman ji appeared to him and said that he wanted to stay at this Sangam. Then the merchant allowed this idol to remain here.
